The Ziura is our fourth model and by far the most technically challenging build to date. Its pocket clip was designed to maximize the unity with the handle through a single concealed clip screw located in the curvature of the integral spine. This makes the clip and handle a near solid piece because of the precision fit of the mating parts. The frame and clip also feature crisp double chamfer lines and lots of detailed hand work. The design of the stop pin was done to add uniqueness and bring some art to a more traditionally function-only part of the knife. Like all of my knives, the Zuira features mirrored dual thumblugs. The blades are heat treated utilizing a rapid oil quench technique, are deep cryo treated, and Rockwell tested. This is always done in small batches to ensure accuracy. Every part of the knife except the ceramic detent ball and phosphor bronze washers are made in-house from raw materials and each knife comes with a custom pivot tool so owners can service their own knives.
